Old Government House Tea Room
The Old Government House Tea Room will offer Merlo Coffee fresh espresso and a selection of fine loose leaf teas to accompany gourmet ribbon sandwiches and traditional high teas. A menu highlight is homemade lamingtons – served at the birthplace of the lamington from the original recipe! Lord Lamington – the namesake of the treat – was the Governor of Queensland from 9 April 1896 to 19 December 1901.
